For those who battle with self-worth —

By Becca Haines

The Worth You Give

Somewhere between reality and perspective
lives a being that is constantly reflective
of this world’s ulterior objective.

I am
an afterthought of your loyalties.
I am
the last of your priorities.
I am
what you missed.
I am
the bottom of your list.

I only have the worth you give.

I am not
worth your time.
I am not
worth your effort.
I am not
worth your anything.

I only have the worth you give.

Somewhere between this reality and perception,
lives a certainty with a powerful expectation.

I am
worth your loyalty.
I am
worth your priority.
I am
worth your time.
I am
worth your effort.

I am worth everything.

I only have the worth He gave.
Because He Gave It All.
Now I have it all.

This is everywhere
in both reality and perspective.
And we can share this by being reflective
of God’s love
fighting against the world’s ulterior objective.

“The Worth You Give” was inspired from the battle between the lies this world feeds us about our worth and the divine Heavenly Father’s love. Our perspectives allow us to interpret our surroundings but it’s important to remember how limited they are and how our insecurities can slant them. Focusing on one, limited perspective is a dangerous place to be and it’s a vulnerability that the evil one uses against us. It’s so important to live in the reality and truth of our Heavenly Father’s love. Live today in the truth that you have worth because He paid it all.
