Family & Friends!
Greetings from Glenarm, Northern Ireland, which is nestled on the dramatically beautiful coastline of the North Atlantic. Today, we could see the cliffs of Scotland across the channel. It’s crazy cool that it sits only 12 miles away from us!
We’re slowly getting over jet-lag and acclimating to our new culture. One big challenge is that it’s summer solstice and we’re so far both. Tonight, the sun didn’t set until almost 11 p.m., and we lose the sense of time!
Today was divided between training and set-up for Summer Madness, which will begin tomorrow evening. Tomorrow will begin with more training by Salt Factory Sports, then we’ll get to do a “wee bit” of sightseeing before going to Summer Madness.
SALT’s mission statement is centered on Matthew 5:13, MSG:
“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be the salt seasoning that brings out the God flavors of this earth.”
We would really appreciate your prayers for the coming days that we’ll be filled with energy, patience, and extravagant love for those we encounter.
