N. Ireland Spring Break 3: Update 6
Posted: Monday, April 16, 2018
Tonight was our last night at the RIOT Youth Center. After a relaxing day of exploring the Dundrum Castle and the Nendrum monastic site, we got to hang out with the students at RIOT for about twice as long as we have on the other evenings. Friendships continued to grow stronger, and you could tell how invested the team was in this experience when it came time to leave and we struggled to say our goodbyes.
As has been the case with every other day, prayer and meditation were a huge part of our experience today. We got to pray for Richie, and the team has continued to cover Ireland in prayer as well. We have felt all week that the country of Northern Ireland is on the brink of a revival, and we are so thankful that God has allowed us to come alongside his work here for a short time.
Tomorrow, we will spend the day in Belfast, where we will wrap up our conversation about the division between Protestants and Catholics here. It will be an educational and fun day to relax and prepare for a long trip home on Sunday. We appreciate your prayers as God continues to reveal to us how he wants to use our experiences here to impact our communities when we get home.
