Ireland Update: 1

Posted: Monday, July 16, 2018

What a great initiation day for our crew! We experienced an all-around incredible worship service at Elevate Community Church (which is where we’ll be doing a majority of our service this week) where we had the opportunity to meet a handful of people from the church, enjoy conversations of a cup of coffee, and enjoy the worship experience, which included a phenomenal message from Dermot. (You can listen to it here:
We spent our afternoon meeting at different locations around the City Centre, praying for different needs of the city, the church, and the people that make up this beautiful country. While there’s certainly a need for God’s presence to be felt, He’s also on the move of those currently making waves on the ground.
We finished up our afternoon/evening by doing something so dear to the culture of Ireland ¬– watching the World Cup Final! Bummer that Croatia lost.
A great day for sure, and tomorrow we begin with some “hands on” service opportunities.
Continue praying for our students and leaders. May we have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts open to receive whatever it is God may have before us, whether it’s a conversation, a teachable moment, or simply being still before Him … may we be humble enough to heed to His will.
Grace & Peace from Limerick!
