2019 Northern Ireland RIOT 2 Update 6
Posted: Saturday, June 15, 2019
Thursday was a good day in Northern Ireland. After a few hours of engaging conversation in the morning, we made our way to a monastic site in Nendrum. Atop a hill, this grassy plain was once a refuge for faith and technology in the dark ages. Our team circled up and prayed near the center and were overwhelmed with the thought that Christians had prayed in that same spot for centuries. Their lives were centered around prayer and where prayer was central, civic life flourished. We’ve talked a lot about how missions is a lifestyle this week and this ancient site demonstrated that in living color.
