In Poland, Engage is honored to partner with Proem Ministries and their awesome staff! Proem was founded by Polish nationals in 1990, and has since been sharing the gospel with youth and families in Eastern Europe through camp programs, Christian education, church planting and community outreach. Their desire is to see lives transformed as they share the freedom and hope found in Jesus. The Engage team will serve at the teen FISHART (creative arts) camp which takes place at Proem’s recreational campground. The camp will facilitate teens up to age 18 and the week will be full of activities, sports, and worship sessions. With a focus on creative arts, there will be particular tracks on photography, music, instruments, vocals, drama, dance, graphic design, etc. You do not need to be an expert in these areas, but have a willingness to jump in and serve.
The camp area is beautiful with tree-lined river views and a recently reopened castle. Not only do you have tons of fun with all of the activities at camp, but there are also intentional times throughout the week of teaching the Gospel and showing the love of Jesus. You’ll also take a day trip to the museum and grounds of the Auschwitz concentration camps that were run during World War II. Learning the history of the land and people plays an integral part of serving and loving people well in the name of Jesus. Come join our Engage team in Poland as we have an incredible week partnering with Proem!
